Databases - CINAHL
To get to CINAHL Plus with Full Text go to Barnett Briggs Medical Library home page, click on "Dynamed, Nursing Reference Center and More", select EBSCOhost Research Databases, then click on "CINAHL Plus with Full Text".

Strategies to find evidence-based articles:
See if there's an Evidence-based Care Sheet on your topic (Top green tool bar). Care sheets cover broad, general disease-related information, but if you have a more specific information need, these care sheets won't help you. You'll need to put the specifics of your patient or intervention into a search using the search boxes.
After you've done the initial search, you can use the "refine search" screen to find just evidence-based articles. Here are some ways to do that:
- Use Publication Type drop down menu. Select Clinical Trial or Systematic Review.
- Check Research Article checkbox.
- Check Evidence-based Practice checkbox.
- Use Special Interest drop down menu. Select Evidence-based Practice.
